Help with putting pieces together on lineage

I have my gelding (who I think I am officially naming Docs Prescription Buckshot, AKA Buck) and I have his entire paternal side breeding, but his maternal side is more sketchy. I had a whole chart filled out on the parts I did know, but somehow it got erased Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has access to the AQHA database to look up lineage? His former owner said her mare that he is out of is unregistered. Her dam is also unregistered and deceased, but his grandfather on that side's name is Queen's Copper Lining. She said he is AQHA registered and I found a site that I can look up a lot of his lineage, but for some reason I can't find anything on Queen's Copper Lining.... His grandmother was a mare out of a Streakin Six bred mare, so I have all the info from Streakin Six on out. I just am having trouble with his grandpa for some reason. Can anyone help me out? I tried joining allbreedpedigree.com which is where I found all the other parts of his lineage, but I have yet to be approved to post messages and it's been two weeks.
He is actually a pretty well bred little guy and I would love to know the rest of his family tree!!! He's got a LOT of Doc Bar on his sire's side, along with a lot of other great horses....Lenas Bar, Docs Prescription, Docs Lynx King, etc... and on his mothers side he has Go Man Go, Triple Chic, Boston Mac, The Ole Man, ChicadoV, Streakin Six, etc. If someone can help me piece together the last little bits I would be forever grateful!!!!:mr green:

You can, if you have registered names, look up their progeny on allbreed, without a membership. Pull up the pedigree and click on " report", it gives you more possibilities, one of them " progeny". If there is one you know, click it to open the pedigree. I found quite a bit that way.

I already did that and his name comes up but there is no extended pedigree on him. That's why I'm asking about AQHA database, because his previous owner said she could get an extended pedigree on his grandpa through AQHA, but she's older and doesn't have access to a computer unless she goes into town and uses the library. So I didn't want to make her do more work than needed :)

For each horse there's s 5 generation pedigree on allbreed, unless, of course, ancestry is not known, missing. So if you click on each name to the right, you get 5 more generations. I go look.....

And he is registered, which means his sire and **** had to be registered and so forth, so there is gotta be some way to find out what his pedigree is. My gelding is not registered and cannot be since his dam and her dam are unregistered

I see now
somebody with AQHA membership should be able to get you more info. You can still put your boy on allbreed, just leave the missing lines to" edit" and fill in what you have.

Right :) I will get him on there eventually, but for now I'm just really interested in his grandfathers pedigree. Since she said he has The Ole Man in his lines I'm wondering if that comes in under his grandfather! It's just cool to see he has so much racing and cutting blood in him!

Im bumping this again.... I'd really like to find out his lineage... so if anyone has any suggestions I'm open!! I just don't want to buy an AQHA membership to look up one horse if at all possible.
