Soaking your hay question

Hi,
I'm just wondering when you soak your hay or alfalfa in a bucket for an hour, I know you rinse it off, but do you have to dry it for a while or do you feed it wet? It's the middle of a very hot summer here in Australia and I'm thinking wet might be good?
I'm soaking it to leach out the sugars for my mini. Thanks

You can feed it wet.

Yup, you can feed it wet.
