    I would suggest getting some sort of job like everyone has suggested. Ask for riding lessons, or money for them, for birthday and Christmas. This way you can pay for lessons from a real trainer and get a solid foundation to help you when you are able to ride more regularly.

    Where are you located? Where I am, I know of a few places/trainers who would exchange work for lessons, or at least let you work TOWARD lessons to make your expense less. Do the people down the street from you know how to teach you? I'm sure there must be a trainer who will allow a student to work for part or all (depending on how much time you have) of the lesson cost...
