NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN didn't examine the legislation when they "reported" on it. They were lapdog sycophants re: Obamacare. Only FoxNews asked any probing questions about it.
It reminds me of the Soviet Union and their "news" organization call "TASS." Tass reported the news just the way that the government wanted them to, therefore no journalism.

One of my favorites is that it was not a tax. Only to be allowed by the Supreme Court based as a tax.

I know that some aspects of Obamacare have caused some people to stop going to their doctors.

Did you know that they can only run 1 test per office visit? My Mom, who's cardiologist is 2.5 hours away from her (one way), had to have 5 appointments on 5 different days in January to have 5 tests run...which could and should have been run all in one day.

Don't know if I want to respond. =/
OK, here goes...IF we had any Thomas Paine's around who were reporting news, you would hear about the corruption in Washington, D.C., where it's rosey as The Emerald City (3% unemployment, restaurants full).
But...we don't. They all want to go to news conferences and be called on...and loved. So...almost 100% of them are "NewsReaders." Everything is repeated, practically word for word. Flip the news channels every night and see if I'm wrong.
There are many, many problems with over reaching Federal Government control. That's what Obamacare is.
Would you EVER, in your life, want to pay for a service one year ahead of time before you got it? Please name me the instances and the products of services that you have paid for way in advance. Did that happen? Were you happy with that?
THAT is what we being forced to do in 2013--pay for healthcare in 2013 not received until 2014.
If we don't buy health insurance, we will be treated as common criminals and forced to pay the government for not following Obamacare, the new LAW.
What if I don't want to buy health insurance? Can't I go to my death without buying anymore? Nope. The government, for the FIRST TIME IN OUR HISTORY, is forcing me, a born here American citizen, to buy a service. They "say" I might be serviced in an emergency by an ambulance and an ER. How do they know this? Should I be contacting them about my next lottery ticket, since they know my future?
I truly hope that we can get a conservative President elected in 2016, and that we can kick out all of these spend everything, life long politicians in Congress. We need term limits. These people have no concern about anybody in this country outside of D.C. THEY get a premium health care service now, and will for the rest of their natural lives, so they don't care about you and me...except for any more $ they can steal from us, one way or another.

Oh, I misunderstood. Yes, I whole heartedly agree. They often omit huge peices of info, which is they same as lieing by ommission, IMO.

My bet is they will make us provide proof of insurance along with filing income taxes. They'll let the IRS handle the reporting.
