It's not just Obama. It's being exaggerated by pretty much everyone.

Maybe as The President, he should set an example for others and stop so others would follow for the Good of everyone.

That (everyone else is exaggerating it) is difficult to confirm, but the President went on record w his "exaggerations", so it can be said w surety that he exagerated it.

Obama is now back pedaling. We are no longer falling off a fiscal cliff but instead taking a tumble. He admitted that most people wont feel an immediate impact as things will be phased in over a 7 month period instead of over night. Wow, the world really isn't coming to an end after all.

Just my guess, we will go over the "cliff" tonight. Next week they'll amend the darn thing to allow targeted cuts of 85 billion instead of across the board cuts that really are stupid to do.

I mostly agree, although many conservatives, myself included, would welcome the sequester. However, Obama is the President, and is supposed to be our leader...the campaign is over. He is nothing but a joke...

Now every bad thing or lack of improvement will be blamed on the cuts, which aren't really cuts

I wish they would because it is not all his fault, the start of the economic crash really started with Jimmy Carter, but most Kool-Aid lovers will never admit the real truth

Neither will they admit the whole sequestration started as an idea by the Obama administration, add the fact that the sequestration is a 2.3% cut of future expenditure increases, even if it was not, can the Government not survive with a 2.3% cut?, I am sure a few less Washington Parties, 600 less national conventions per year and a 1,000 other items could be cut to save some money right in Washington DC

Both parties will claim the other is at fault for any pain felt because of these cuts in spending both parties agreed to.
However the Speaker of the House has yet to win any battles with our President concerning taxes, the debt ceiling, or spending cuts. Maybe new leadership for the House Republicans can change their luck. Shalom

Honestly it isn't ANYBODY'S fault except for the stupid people buying these wheel barrow loads of dung getting heaped at us.

Why aren't the federal employees standing up and telling the pres and congress to shove it? Why aren't the mothers and fathers of the potential children affected not lining up and telling these "representatives" that there WILL BE NO MORE pandering or manipulation tolerated for the sake of politics! Why aren't the workers of this awesome country and their employers not beating down their doors and blocking their $187,000 per hour flights to fantastic vacations until they get better economic policies and tax reform so they can do the same!

Blows my mind!!! Enough is enough.
