AKC dog breeders

I just thought it would be neat to list the dog breeders on this forum. I put AKC in the title but I think any registered breed would be cool. I'm not thinking this thread would be a classified ad but more of a place to look when someone wants a new dog... you know, kind of a trusted contact?

Before anyone screams rescue, I have only owned 3 purebred dogs to date. A Scottish Terrier and my collie, the third was a rescue - a German Shepard. She was a heartbreak story. Skin and bones, terrified of people, turned out to be a wonderful dog. Lost her to all of the health problems that she came with after only 2 years.

My brother has 2 rescued German Shepherds, that particular rescue seems to be one of the easier ones to work with.

So... listing rescues would be ok but only if you've actually had experience with them because some are really hard to deal with and can be really frustrating.

I don't breed dogs yet but I have always wanted to. I'd like to breed either collies or shepherds but right now I'm not set up for it and I don't have the time as I will want to have well socialized animals.....

"Be a best friend, tell the truth, and overuse I love you
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense
Never let your prayin knees get lazy
And love like crazy"
