Youre getting a girl and a boy? Is the boy neutered?

Well actually I was thinking and I am just going to get two girls. The lady has 18 babies so I will just get 2 girls

I see many rats babies in the future, unless you have two cages. I don't like charlie but I do like Penelope, hmmm can't think of anything better pics would help.

I love rats. The tame variety, not keen on the ones in the feed room which eat everything.

I had a girl rat some years ago. I called her 'Tara' which is 'a rat' spelled backwards.

You need to get two of the same sex or be prepared to have two cages and the money to neuter the male.

PLEASE do your research before purchasing rats. I have five females, although I did not make my first purchase until I was more than informed about them. Make sure you have the proper facilities (read: cages) to house such small rats and make sure you are either able to purchase a larger cage as they grow (rats needs at least 2ft of cubic space each) or have the funds to purchase a large enough cage initially. Kudos to you for getting two - they are extremely social and just aren't happy by themselves. I recommend hanging around a few different rat forums too to make sure you are up to ownership.

I already have a rat, and I know alot about them

Its not a bad thing to not know everything. You still have alot to learn at your age (I sound so old), and better to take it gracefully then sound like a brat.
