Hahahahahahahaahaahhahahahahaa ok funny story about my bunny...
So I had alsways wanted a bunny, right? But my dad didnt want one because small animals freak him out:) but one day I came home from school and my mom had gone out and gotten a bunny, witout telling my dad:) he turned out to be fine with the bunny as long as it didnt touch him. So I named this bunny Rosy. Rosy was a good bunny for about a month before we went on vacation and left her with one of my friends (That certain friend has a little sister and a little brother...). When we came back Rosy was a changed bunny. She bit everyone and growled all the time (yes bunnies growl:) to get he out of the cage you would habve to throw a blanket over her head and grab her from behind. One day we went to the fair and there was a booth for animal rehabilitators. We asked them if they took bunnies. They did. We gave Rosy to them and haven't seen her since:)
When I was little, I had a brown mini rex called Bunny Buns.
I want a white rabbit so I can make a little jacket and waistcoat for him, just like the one in Alice in Wonderland. They sell them at the county fair for fifteen bucks. I almost got one. But I don't need any more animals right now.
I have three but am temporarily housing three more for a friend. XD
All of them are Lionheads, two bucks and the rest are does. I don't have any pictures of them yet though.
My three are:
Altair: black buck with one white toe and blue eyes (one eye with a brown spot in it). Very much a sweetheart.
Rosa: brown/black/silvery (it's a weird color) doe and Isabella's sister. She came to me pregnant with a badly infected eye (it was so bad when I got her that, before she was cleaned up, we thought she didn't even have an eye); she had one stillborn pup and, now that the infection and resulting cataract has been cleared up, she's possibly blind in that eye, but is one of my friendliest rabbits. (I blame the mound of snacks and pets that she got every time I had her out to treat her eye, because she certainly didn't start out friendly.)
Sofia: a brown/black doe and Catarina's sister. Kinda grumpy and doesn't like being handled, but she'll happily sit at my feet and be petted or fed treats.
And the three I'm 'boarding':
Isabella: Rosa's sister, the same weird color as her. She's a complete snot and can't be left unattended with the other rabbits at all, because she just chews them all up. To people, though, she's friendly enough... as long as they're feeding her. She also likes to, very stealthily, chew holes in your clothes, and be cuddled inside people's sweaters/jackets.
Catarina: Sofia's sister, also brown/black, and the polar opposite personality from Sofia. She's so sweet you could get cavities. She'll sit quietly in a person's lap and be petted for hours, and if your hand stops petting her, she starts licking until you pet her again.
Ezio: The other buck, who is also black. I was told he was a doe when I bought him. He is a one person rabbit -- loves on my friend (his owner), but could care less about me (the one who feeds him).
I just wanted to say, that as a die hard Assassins Creed fangirl... I approve of these name choices. LOOOL
We had a black and white Holland Lop named Pepper aka "Bunna" as my daughter called him. He lived with us his whole life and sadly passed last year at age 10. He was a lovely pet and was unafraid of our border collie who liked to herd him and lick his head. We were very lucky to have such a great little pet.
I usually have around 15, up to 40 or so when I breed. (:
I raise Rex, the standards not minis.
And horsedreamer: I do show mine, not quite as much as I'd like but I usually attend several ARBA shows per year.
