    Bathing cats?

    *sigh*

... yes.... I said it, bathing cats.

My one cat, a persian, is so matted it's not even funny... we constantly have to cut clumps out of her fur because she just doesn't clean herself and straighten her hairs by herself very well.
My other cat gets into everything she possibly can, rolls in it, and whaddayaknow, suddenly my white cat is now a sickly grey.
So... any tips/tricks? The white/grey cat likes water, the persian.. well... let's just say I am thinking full body armor.
What kind of shampoo can I use? Can I use a conditioner (I'm thinking for the persian here...)?
    Ugh.

I like the dawn dish detergent. It also gets fleas out, not sure about conditioner, maybe some spary in detangler from walmart?

I did my cat who was awesome, she never scratched or anything, but before I did, just to be safe, I wrapped her paws with vetwrap

    Well have fun!!!!

I like farmpony's suggestion of wrapping the paws in vetwrap, I know you can buy shampoo for cats. To get you cat to clean herself you should try misting her with some water, we had a cat once that he wouldnt groom unless he was wet... good luck though and be safe!!!
