Ok, so I'm good with dog and horse behavior, but cats are beyond me.
My boyfriend and I have a six-month-old male kitten named Cosmo. He's not neutered yet, but we're planning on having that done in the next month or so.
Anyway, here's what's stumping me. Cosmo really usually acts like a dog. He's always been that way and we've had him since he was eight-weeks-old and we found him as a stray. He's litter box trained and is very good about using it, or going to the bathroom outside (he's only out when we're home and he stays in the yard with the dog). He's horrible about stealing the dog's bed, but the dog lets him. Anyway, in the past week and a half, Cosmo has popped on Cash's bed twice. He does it when our backs are turned, but both times I've happened to catch him in the act. He acts like he's trying to cover it up, like he would in a litter box. And he's only done it when the dog has been outside. We checked his litter box both times and it was clean.
So, any idea why Cosmo is pooping on Cash's bed?
