This is a good point that I hadn't really thought about, thanks for mentioning it.
I went and saw the cat today, he definitely has lost some weight. That being said, he was a probably a little over weight previously so he is not skinny looking but he has definitely lost weight. He also is normally the type of cat who won't stay off of your lap but I could barely get him to come out from behind the couch, not sure if the change in attitude is because he's not feeling good or if it's because of something else. According to my friend, the cat has been eating normally but I am not entirely sure if my friend has actually checked on it or if he's just assuming. I also asked my friend if the cat has been wormed recently but he didn't know. Sigh.
Unfortunately my friend's mom is in Saskatchewan for the next week, so I can't talk to her about it. I tried to convince my friend to take him to the vet himself but he doesn't have the money to do it (and his mom would probably be very angry).
I took a picture of the cat, so that you can see the lump but for some reason it won't upload so I will try again later.
