Cleo and Oliver (Lots of pics!)

I was asked to post kitten pics, so here they are!

CLEO (Cleito, Cleocat)
Cleo is a black and white female. My girlfriend has had her since she was a little kitten, but I didnt get to meet her in person (cat?) until she was about 8 months old, since I was still residing on the other side of the planet She's around 3 now. She is a typical female cat, doesnt like it when you pick her up and really likes to be left alone to do her own thing (sleeping and chasing papers usually) However, when she does decide she wants to cuddle, she comes sit on your lap and sucks your shirt, especially if you're wearing black! (Her mom was black, not sure if that has something to do with it) She sleeps on the bed at night, so she's not antisocial! Just tends to stick to the feet mostly. She loves vegetables, especially corn and broccoli, and she goes crazy if there are any bugs around to hunt (we live in an appartment on a high floor, so mice are - hopefully - not around). She quite enjoys baths, once she's under the warm water, but HATES any pills or drops you might try to give her, will scratch you until you bleed, little tiger that she is. All in all we love her very much. Did I mention she is gorgeous?

OLIVER (Olliebollie, Ollieman, Little boy)
Oliver is a little boy we rescued last year. We had been looking at another kitten, a grey and white tabby, but that one was given to someone else in the last moment, and the guy we were going to take him from told us he had found an emaciated little boy in the park, covered in mud. The guy gave him a bath and lots of flea shampoo, and then took him over to our house the same night.

Due to Cleo not agreeing too much with this new member of the family, The little kitten had to sleep in the kitchen for the first few days, in a box, on a pillow with a hot water jar placed under it to keep him warm. The vet had us put him on special food until he gained some weight. He was the sweetest thing (and my first young kitten!) so we soon fell in love with him. We named him Oliver because he always wanted more food (he really needed it back then, but now it is becoming an issue since he is getting pretty fat!) and had the same coloring as Oliver from the Disney movie Oliver&Company. After some time Cleo and he got used to each other, and now they lay, sleep next to each other, eat together and play lots! The playing mostly consists of Oliver chasing Cleo around until she gets tired of him and gives up running to turn around and fight. She cut his nose open pretty good the other day, but its his own fault lol. He doesnt learn from it either, five seconds later he was back after her He's a very affectionate little boy, but HATES baths! He is also becoming more independent now that he is growing up, but will still call for you if he wakes up and doesnt see you immediately! He usually sleeps stretched out between us in the bed, pushing us to the edge... Cats :p

What lovely cats!!

intelligent. The best of any breed is the Thoroughbred horse, the best
of that breed is better than any other breed." - George Morris
