    Family resemblance? Call me crazy..........

We adopted a dog from a nearby shelter earlier this year. Tonight I was browsing the links (the main site links to shelters in a 9 county area) and happened across a posting from the same shelter that made me do a double take. They have a dog there now who I would almost bet is our Jethro's sibling (they are even estimating her to be the same age as our boy).

    Here is Jethro:

Here is the little girl (they are calling her Duffie)

Okay, maybe not a sibling, but definitely a "mini-me" for our boy. I mean, it's just wierd because the shelter is not a big one and there isn't a real high volume of dogs that goes through there - and they look so similar.

They do look similar, just her being a little shaggier. I think you should adopt her, too.

I am trying very hard to resist doing just that. So far I have only given in enough to send an e-mail to the shelter manager, lol. I sent an e-mail to my husband last night to have him see how similar they are and his first question was, "So, are you telling me we have a new dog?" I am trying to be good.
