Getting old :'(

My parents have made comments for years about my dog dying, joking about it because they don't like him. But now that he is super old it's touchey to me.
My mom keeps making Comments and I asked her to stop and she told me I was being too sensitive and kept on making comments. My dad understands and is holding back his comments, thank God.
It's just hard to believe the dog we owned since I was 2 (I'm 14 now) is going to leave me soon! I'm so upset, and just wish my mom will stop commenting.

My parents have stopped making jokes and comments about my dog's age and her dying because they saw how much it upset me. We've had her since she was 6 months old and she's twelve now. Hopefully you'll parents will really figure out how much it hurts you. I understand your feelings. *hugs*

It's hard to comprehend the fact that they aren't going to be there one day isn't it? Just spend as much time with your dog as you can. I do hope your parents start to understand.
