I know this is an older thread, I've never been to this section of the forum before...
So thought I would go ahead and jump in with a question, and some photos too!

This is my little Emmie.
She was a "barn warming" gift from a friend, and her and my male Llama, Gus, fell in love at first sight!
He just thinks the world revolves around her.

My question is this, we know she is part Lamancha, but does anyone have any ideas what her other half could be?
Her coat does lay pretty smooth in the summer months, I think in these two picks she is a little shaggy looking, and her coat is pretty soft, not course like some, if that helps.

She's probably an angora or cashmere cross. I worked with some nigoras (half angora, half nigerian) and they looked like that and shed out in the spring.

Semperfiwife, thanks so much for that!

I would have never thought about those two, I don't know why, it makes sense with the softness of her coat...
I guess in the end it does not really matter what she's mixed with, but it is nice to have some idea anyway.
Helps quiet my curiosity!
