Guinea Pig with URI

Any other piggy owners ever have to deal with a URI?

I am so broken up about it.

I noticed last night that Rosie sounded a little crackly. This morning she had a little bit of nasal discharge so I immediately separated her from my other pigs.

Of course the vet is closed today, but she will be going first thing tomorrow.

So far she is acting normal for the most part, so I'm hoping it is still early on in the infection. I am also hoping that I separated her fast enough.

She is eating and pooping. Before I separated her she was running and popcorning, though now she is nervous in the cage by herself.

Anyone else been through this?
I feel awful.

I hope he feels better soon! I am dealing with RIs in a couple rescued snakes right now. It is not fun! Sending healing vibes to your little friend.

She got put on antibiotics this morning, which she seems to enjoy!
