Talking Piggies!!!

I love guinea pigs! They are the best rodent pets! They are so interactive and talk to you! Weeweewee! I don't have any right now but when I was a kid I had a brown female named "Squeeky" of course, I think I was like 4 y/o lol! She was pregnant when we bought her from the pet store, but we didnt know it my mom just thought she was fat! I asked my mom "Who put those babies in there?" My mom was like "What?!?!" So funny!

I'm terrified of guinea pigs :) Won't go near them, won't touch them. Its kinda weird actually cause I have no idea why I fear them so much. They're pretty much one of the only things I can say I'm afraid of. :)

I VERY recently became a first time cavy owner :)

I saw the CUTEST guinea pig ever and just had to have him. He's "calico" (do they call them that? I know if he were a cat... lol) and his head is white with his whole face black, Abyssinian, and just ADORABLE. I had planned on going to Claim Jumper to get a chocolate chip calzone but since I got him I wanted to get him home right away so gave up my dessert, so I named him Calzone ;)

Then decided to get him a friend. I accidently called Calzone Caviar a few times so his friend is Caviar :) Caviar is also an Abyssinian and he's a "torti shell" color.

I will have to post pics sometime when I'm home, can't access them at work.

Here's my families piggy. I honestly don't know what breed he is(besides obviously short haired) as we got him from a friend who couldn't keep him(dog hated him). But he's about a year old, and his name is Patches, or Buddy as we usually end up calling him.

I have 3 Guinea Pigs, and I LOVE THEM :)

I origionally started out with a rescue female. She was beautiful, black and gold. I loved her dearly, her name was Her Royal Porkchoppyness. She was my princess and she went everywhere with me. She was left in the womans washroom at a pet store, and the pet store had no idea what to do with her, so I took her home. They gave me a cage, shavings and all the supplies needed to take care of her. That was PetSmart in Kalamazoo Michigan.

Anyways, I had her for about 2 years, maybe a bit more, but she ended up dying of pnemonia. It started out as an ear infection and we took her to the pocket pet vet, who examined her and gave her medication, but then it transpired from an ear infection to pnemonia. She died in my Husbands arms. :(

I was so depressed, my Husband bought me a Piggy for xmas. She is a longish haired calico piggy with rosebuds all over her body. Her name is Mochiatto.

And then my Hubby's Best Friend, without knowing one was already bought - went and bought me a Piggy for Xmas, an American. Her name is Maple.

The Manager of PetSmart, got to know me quiet well because I was there all the time, gave me her Guinea Pig because she was rarely home, and she's another American fatty fat fat, with a rosebud on her forehead. I named her Bindi.

So I have Mochiatto, Maple and Bindi.

My 3 special pork chops. Right now, they are laying in their cage, all sprawled out sleeping. With all their fattyness spewing out all around them. My god..my guinea pigs are so fat.
