hard choices...

So...

Anna has a tumor. I took her to the emergency vet this weekend because it broke open and is draining. I think they are going to tell me I only have one choice...

Do you think they'll beat around the bush and make me feel like I have a choice or they'll tell it like it is?

Honestly I don't know. The dog I had since I was 2 went into shock after I went to school one morning so my mom rushed her to the vets and I guess they said she would still be able to live but would be a little uncomfortable (she had a tumor or something behind her eye and was putting pressure on it) my mom just had her put down so she wouldn't be suffering.

Some people can make those decisions easily and ... UGH! I've been telling myself all weekend that I'm going to put her down and now .... I don't know....

Well do what your heart tells you is right. Also, ask the vet what he thinks the best choice will be. Hang in there!!

...I put her to sleep. She died in my arms and I brought her home and put her in between the house and the barns. I'm going to put something that has really really pretty flowers on it. Does anyone have any ideas? Bulbs or flowering bushes? Something as beautiful as she was....
