I had a hedgehog for 4 years :) Her name was Daisy and she was a cinnacot African Pygmy. She was such a cool little friend and I still miss her. She was fairly social and enjoyed being handled up until the very end.

I'm not sure I'll ever get another, but I still really love the little hedgies!

    Do you have a hedgehog?

I had a Pygmy hedgehog named Nettles. I loved her so much, she had tons of personality!

During college, I bred hedgies for the pet store I worked at. I often had orphaned babies in my pockets to dropper feed between classes.

It's been almost 12 years since I lost Nettles and I'm very seriously considering getting another. They really are awesome little pets.

My BO has a male hedgie named Jumanju. Cutest thing ever and I'd love to own one. Are they typically expensive? I'm not sure where to get one either...our local pet store doesn't sell them.
