Default I can't stop crying

I just found out my best friend, a cat named Bigboy, has had to have surgery today. Apparently he had to have a piece of his bowel cut out and there's a chance he wont make it.
He hasn't been well the last few days and we took him to the vet a few days before today and he was given two injections, and bless his heart, he took them without complaint. We bought him home and he seemed to get sicker.
Last night I remember going to bed and having him jump up and curl into my arm and starting to purr. I remember giving him a huge hug and whispering into his ear "I love you, and get better soon, Bubba. Good Night."
This morning I remember he was in the kitchen lying on the ground purring his huge heart out. I remember going up to him and giving him a huge kiss on his cheek, which he shut his eyes and purred louder afterwards.
I grabbed my camera off the counter and took several photo's of him, of which I will upload later when I can get hold of my emotions. I have not dared to look at the camera yet. All I remember is taking several photo's of him purring at the camera and giving him a quick kiss before heading off for school...
He had an alsor(not sure how to spell) in his bowel and has a huge hairball stuck that has alot of little bits of rock stuck in it. They had to remove part of his bowel to get the alsor and hairball out and if they hadn't he would have died from it. But there is a good chance he still will die from the surgery as it was a huge surgery for a cat. We are going to ring in the morning after my horseriding and see if he is alright and maybe go see him or take him home...depends if he makes it through..

I'm really really sorry that your kitty is sick....I will say prayers that he will be okay.....

You must be talking about an ulcer....yeah, those aren't good, but if dealt with early and properly, can easily be cured.

I wish you the best of luck. = )

AWWWW don't worry i have lost about 4 cats!! One went Crazy and died of heart attack, the other Stolen and then one we gave away becaues she was to scared to face a bowl of food. And then the one I will never forget. Lizzy i got her for my bday when i turned 4 and i chose her, we went away on holidays to come back to see her tangled in a plant, it was obvious she wasn't right! we took her to the vet and found out that she had a broken Pelvis and Back. I was only 5 so didn't understand that she had to be put down. I thought she was just oing to stay at the vets for a while, When mum told me she was gone i cried my little eyes out!! and now my eyes are prickling with tears thinking about it so i must leave!! I hope your cat is okay!
