I know we have a tropical fish forum that our site is linked to, but I didn't want their opinions, I wanted yours. Lol

Anyway, I've been keeping aquariums for just over three years now and I love it. I love coming up with new aquascapes, executing them, figuring out stocking lists that will work, maintaining them...everything. I've had everything from 5 gallon betta tanks up through a 55 gallon tropical community (which I would still have if the tank hadn't cracked when I was moving a couple of weeks ago). I'm looking to get a bigger tank right now. I've even had a 28 gallon bowfront saltwater reef (didn't get very far with that one before I moved and all my corals and fish died due to improper handling by my dad).

So, because I enjoy fish keeping so much, I have decided that, eventually (hopefully in the next year to year and a half), I want to start my own aquarium landscape and maintenance business. I'm going to take the small business entrepreneurship courses at our local community college to start. Then I'm going to market my business to doctors' offices, dentists, lawyers and other places where a well-maintained aquarium would be appreciated.

Well, now that I've got my plan in place and ready to implement, I'm looking for ideas for names for my business. One of my friends suggested "Just Keep Swimming Aquariums," but unfortunately that name is already taken by a company in Washington state. I want it to be fun, whimsical and memorable.

Bring on the ideas!

Yeah, try to avoid long drawn out names. Write a few down and then pretend to answer the phone. "Thank you for calling Fine Fun Freshwater Fish of Frankfort. How may I help you?"

Great idea by the way. Get a notebook and write down ideas. It helps visualize what might work for you. I will see what I can come up with.
