    I'm a sucker for a goofy grin..

So, I keep going on about never purchasing an animal from a pet store and here I go..purchasing an animal from a pet store! *sigh*
The lil' bugger has been there for months. He's always jammed into the same corner and I always get the urge to snag him. Well..today I did! Come to find out there are actually 2 in the cage and one was MASSIVE!!!! Aren't frogs cannibalistic, eating smaller of their kind? The larger one was twice the size of the guy I picked up.
Anyway, I'm very happy with my pick up. He's just so cute he melts my heart every time I check on him! Poor guy is trying to climb up the back of the display and he keeps sliding back down with chucks of moss he pulled of. He's getting quite the work out though! =D

I'm still thinking of a name but gosh he's a cutie!!!

What do you think of the set up? Its my first froggy set up so I'm not sure if I should change anything or not.

For some reason his right eye is half white. The other one is normal. Not sure whats up with that.

    He's so cute!!!!

A picture I tried to do up a bit. Yes, I altered the colors just a tad. =P

I've never heard of frogs being cannibalsitic? I've only had fire bellies but always had them in multiples.
Anyhow, congrats on your new pet! Photos are blocked at work :( so I will have to check them out later

Okay so here is an update on the Whites Tree Frog that I purchased from Petsmart. Now I remember why I don't purchase from pet stores..I'm almost 100% sure that he is blind in his left eye. You can pretty much see for your self from the close up of his eye. I'm going to call in tomorrow and complain about it. I'm not giving him back but I'm going to let them know that I was NOT satisfied with the health of the animal.

On the plus side, I have named him Sir Humphrey. =D Here are a few updated pics. He hasnt eaten yet as far as I know but maybe he did. About 5min after I let out a couple crickets in his tank, he started going on the prowl so we'll see!

(I'm going to have to fix up a couple of these pics to look nice =D.)
