Last night I got to the barn and found 4 kittens around 2/3 months old at the barn. I suspect someone dumped the poor kittens off at the barn because I am along with the 3 other boarders are at the barn for hours and did not see nor hear the kittens. So i'm most likely taking them home and taking care of them and try to adopt them out. The 3 other boardersand I are discussing to spilt the cost for spay neuter and rabies shot but not sure yet. It's so sad that someone could just drop the poor kittens off somewhere.

Seems to me people see horse farm & think "now there's a good place to dump my cat." We have a new kitten that was dropped here about a month ago. The jerks were nice enough to put him on my deck with a sheet to sleep in. Grrr...but anyway here's Milo when we discovered him, he's actually turning out to be quite the hunter & barn cat :)

The managers at the barn said this used to always happen! I just feel bad fior them, they are covered in fleas its just bad. That's as mighty cute cat!! I hope I can talk my parents into letting me keep one :)

I rehome about 5-15 cats a year courtesy of dumping on our property. Definitely invest in spay/neuter prior to placement, I refuse to place an un-altered cat because I can't stand the thought of the cycle continuing with the ones I am responsible for. There are low cost spay/neuter clinics in all states and most areas w/in those states, if you need any help finding one near you just let me know.

I have a whole cat rescue at my house where people dropped cats at a barn across the street and they come here for food and shelter. It's a good thing and makes you feel good to help save their lives, but it's slot of work! So don't get out of hand with them lol and good luck!
