    Lets see those Labs!

Alright, for yet another year, the Lab has been named the most popular dog in America
( http://www.akc.org/news/index.cfm?article_id=3408 ) . So why not have a thread dedicated to the breed?

It's no lie, I adore my pups, of course I adore one more than the other (yes, I know, Imma bad dog mommy). They are such clowns, and even though my yellow lab annoys me a lot of the time, I can't imagine a better dog suited for my son, or our household, and I think once he matures a bit, he'll be a really great dog. My black lad is SO good, and so obedient, she listens very well, and of course having her favorite toy in hand helps too.

So, tell me about your Labrador's!

Labs are notoriously obese being that they are so greedy, and chow houndish when it comes to food.

My black lab is pretty solid, I'm not sure how much of it is fat, or how muscle. She loves her food, but she also loves to run with the wheeler, swim, and she'll play fetch until she passes out.

Ohhh! Haha! Ok cause when we were babysitting them, and I would feed them I would go inside to fill their water bowls, come back out and they were almost done with their food!
But they lost wieght cause my dog would make them run around with her haha!

Your labs are soo adorable!! I love that second pic *big smile*

Thank you! She always has her tongue hanging out.

I'll have to find the pics of them on the saddle we just took.

OMG! You stole my dogs! Not really, but we have 2 labs, one yellow, one black, both males. And much older than yours, but still just as cute. And they are def. Water dogs. If your going to the lake, they know and they have to go!

Our yellow lab is named Shadow, and the black one Buddy. I know that the guy that had them before we did got Shadow first, then Buddy, but he kept them in a kennel for the 1st year of their life. We got them for free and when they came out here, they ran away because of the wide open spaces! But they came back and all is well now!
