Let's see your... rats?!

Any other rat owners on the board? I have two rats at the moment. A fancy rat named Frylock, and a recent addition, a dumbo rat named Butters. Frylock is the brown hooded one, and Butters is the itty bitty grey and white. I'm considering getting a third rat, but am waiting a week or so for Fry and Butters to be completely at ease with each other and their new (huge! They're spoiled ) cage.

Here's some pictures of my ratties. I'm so glad I have them because I'm moving for college soon. Can't bring my dogs, and am looking for someone to lease out Zeus (), so at least I'll have these guys.

Butters on the left and Fry on the right.

The new cage.

Size difference, ha ha.

Cuties.

Rahhhhhh!

Sleepy baby rat.

He's so adorable.

Fry deciding to join him. So glad they're getting along.

The end! Share pictures of your rats!

I give myself very good advice, But I very seldom follow it

What handsome boys you have there. I bet they like their new digs. I am sure Frylock is very happy to have a cage mate. They really do not like living alone.

Rats make the BEST pet.

I am currently rat-less.

Always- Thanks! And yes I always felt so bad about Fry living alone, but I had to wait until I could buy a nicer, bigger cage. The old one was probably too small for him in the first place, but it came with him. I've had rats before, but they died of old age, and I ended up with Fry by chance. A friend had him and she was just too allergic to keep him. I'm allergic as well but I put up with it, ha ha.

Anyway, I'm so glad that I splurged on the new cage and finally got him a friend.
I love having rats, they're so much fun.

And why?! Get a rat! Ha ha. They're like chips though, you just gotta have one more!

EDIT to add a few more photos of them out and about:

Fry looking particularly old and grizzled, he's such a cute old man.

Butters.

Ratzilla.

So true, rats are one of those 'more is better' things. Each with their own personality, etc.

Good thought waiting to get a bigger cage!

I was going to make my own thread, buuuut...

(My sheets are dirty because my dog was just on them; I figured, if they're already filthy, might as well let the rats out and get some pictures)

These are just some of mine (I run a small rattery, as a side hobby)...

Ratsputin, son of Murphy and Lucy; rex tan hooded

Aunt Pearl, siamese dumbo (ignore the red tint to her fur; she got into some BBQ sauce, and it didn't really wash out)

Old man Murphy, about 3 years old now... rex black hooded

Lucy, who is just a black hooded

Violet, Murphy and Lucy's daughter, blue hooded

Rigby, rex blue

Ratsputin and Pearl's pups

Rigby and Hogan's (not pictured) pups

Love old man Murphy. I have a soft spot for rex hoodies.

Rigby does not look like a dumbo to me.... must be a bad photo angle.

They are all cute.

Nutten cuter than a bunch of rittens.
