lost Curly last night.

One.of my hens mysteriously passed away last night. And me kinda sad, because the three stooges are no more. I am not sure what happened to her. They free roam during the day,.and stay in the coop at night. She was just dead,.and the other two seem fine. I looked her over and couldn't find anything. Now Larry and Moe are the two stooges.

Aw that's awful, i'm really sorry :( chickens have such individual personalities don't they? Makes it extra sad :( maybe she picked up something poisoned? Or perhaps she was just ill, although you would notice that I guess... I hope you feel better soon!

I figured she ate something that she wasn't supposed to. She was the friendliest too. Got a two week old chick and 2 4 day old chick I have to start handling now to find her replacement !

Aw good luck with them! Maybe you could name them after her, like Curly II or Curly Jr! I bet with lots of handling they'll be just as friendly as she was :)

The older one is starting to follow me around, so I think she will be a good replacement. I put the new babies with the older chic, and my daughter thought it had the babies! Lol what I would give to be 5 again..
