Meet Belle

Meet Belle. Belle is a 10 year old Italian Spinone cross Old english sheep dog rescue we just got today. She was rescued from Italy from a dog farm by a rescue centre, then given to a Spinone rescue group who rehomed her to a guy that moved up to Shetland then abandoned her up here. She has ad teeth and had a broken jaw at some point so has a deformed jaw and she will probably only live a couple of years at most. We got her to safe her traveling back to the rescue centre about 900 miles away and a rough ferry crossing. She is very calm and gentle. Quite and good on the lead. However she doesn't seen to understand commands like site.
So say hello to our new old girl and lets hope she has a peaceful end to her live.

Never judge a book by their cover, also never judge a pony by their height. They tend to be big personalities in little packages.

Last but far from the least our first rescue Cleo, she is purebred Border Collie and probably bred from one of the bests breeders on the island who sold her to the person we rescued her off of. She was locked in a garden she could get out off with no water and her brother ate all her food so she was very under weight and on top of that she was regularly beaten. She has turned into a fantastic pet that just wants to please everyone she meets and is very happy to meet new people, though she does have her problems because of her start. She was also a fantastic sheep dog but due to an injury as a puppy she gets a little stiff and saw so we retired her at the grand old age of 5.

And one of an 11 month old Cleo meeting 7 week old Spud.

Your dogs are so cute! I'm surprised no one else has commented on them.
