    He's 2 years old. Probably a year left...maybe less but he seems happy with me. He comes out to say hi and sleeps in my arms

    My friend's mom who usually HATES rats said she was surprised on how friendly and loving he was. He's my baby hehe

    I think so too! THey are a much better of pet than hamsters who can (not all though) be blood thirsty. The only time I got bit by a rat that broke skin was because she was abused and someone chopped her tail she was afraid of humans. But no other ones ever did.

    Why? The rats clean and I don't think the rat would mind him having dirty hands

    All your guys rats were big mine were tiny little guys. I got them at the pet store.
