    Meet my new Jack Russell *pic heavy*

    Yesterday I got a 9week old Jack Russell pup! She's so small, she has to wear a cat collar! Still trying to decide on her name. She came with the name Minney, but I think we are going to rename her Reesie.
    Any cute names, feel free to throw them out there!

    She is doing amazing with house training, hasn't had an accident yet! I already started working sit and down with her, she got sit the 3rd time I asked! I'm excited to have another dog to teach a bunch of tricks to.

    Now to see if we can keep her. I have a 2yr old Boxer that isn't too happy about another puppy being in the house. Especially with Reesie being so small, I'm worried Izzy (boxer) could hurt her easily. If Izzy can't handle it, Reesie will go to my sister. I'm thinking they will be okay. Izzy has been being pretty gentle with her. Fingers crossed! Anyway onto the best part, PICTURES! Here's the beautiful snuggle bug.

    She's adorable!!

    Just a note. My 6yo Aussie/St Bernard doesn't like other dogs...at all. Well, he likes little dogs, but that's it. We brought home a 7wk old Aussie/border collie/catahoula mix puppy for Christmas. For the first couple of weeks, Cash didn't want anything to do with Abby and would growl at her and/or run away. By the third week, they were sleeping together. Now, almost right months in, they are inseparable. Our groomer even jokes that Abby belongs to Cash, not us (her words were "That's *his* puppy.").

    Oooo that makes me feel so much better! I'm hoping that's what will happen, as Izzy was letting Reesie lick her face all day.

    She is so cute, love JRT's so smart.

    Why do you wonder if your Boxer will hurt her?, when we brought ours home, we just told the big Doberman that the puppy was mine, and he wasn't allowed to touch it, end of story!

    Oh you got the Snugglebug part right! There's nothing better to snuggle with than a JRT! I'd go right to naming her for what she's going to be.........TROUBLE! LOL! I have 3 and they are the biggest troublemakers EVER. I wouldn't trade them for anything but OH MAN! What they haven't gotten in to, isn't worth getting into. They're destructive, a colossal PIA and I love them more than anything.

    There's a reason they're called jack russell terrorists. Lol

    Umm, yeah.....if it doesn't work out....just send her to me!!! I was looking for a JRT when I found my minpin. Now, I wouldn't trade her for the world BUT....she would love to have a sister!

    She's amazing. I already have a few people lined up to take her if we can't keep her. Her eyes are too loveable!!! I grew up with a JRT and she actually died last year, so I'm pretty happy to have this one. She's SO photogenic.
