My baby warthog :)

Hey guys, I finally found my video camera cable, so I could finally get videos and pictures of my new pet: a baby warthog!

We found this little girl abandoned at our holiday home at Marloth Park in April this year. She was all alone, and after seeing that there were people around (us), she began coming everyday, and even started sleeping close to the house, which broke my heart.

We contacted the local game rangers and informed them of this poor little creature, as a young warthog on it's own is not going to last long in the wild, but there was nothing they could do. They told us that since she was weaned (she had to be in order to survive by herself), no other mother warthog would adopt her (warthog mothers are very well known for adopting suckling orphans), and there was no zoo nearby, and a long trip would not be good at such a young age. We think her mother either abandoned her, or was killed by a predator.

So we adopted her Unfortunatly we are not allowed to bring her home, as she may not react well to living in a town and such, so she is staying at Marloth. Luckily the rangers have put a tracking chip in her shoulder, and let us know how she is doing... My grandparents went up there this past weekend, and they told us that she came to visit, so I am very happy about that!!

At the time we found her she was estimated to be around 2 - 3 months old, so by now she would be around 5 months. Does anyone have any name suggestions? At the moment I'm calling her Sarge, as she reminds me of a horse at my barn called Sarge, but I want a more "wildlifey", interesting name

Sorry for the essay lol, here's a vid I made of her :
