my chunky little miss Leticia

This is Leticia. She is around 5yrs old, i got her from the local humane soceity. She is an indoor only cat (ocassionaly goes outside for a walk and to roll around in the dirt lol), and she prefers it that way. She is rather........ rubenesque (19lbs) but she is on a diet and it is working. She use to weigh 20lbs, but now she is 19lbs... yay! She has the thickest short fur ever! She is more like a dog than a cat, she always wants to be with you 24/7, walks on a leash, she always has to check people out before they come into the house to make sure there safe, she just has the coolest personality and is the best kitty ever . i love her to pieces. Her favorite thing to do is to work on her tan lol, she loves sunbathing. She even tolerates baths, which she gets once every two weeks. So without further adue here is Leticia! NOTE! DONT YOU DARE CALL HER FAT or ill have to sick her on you lol.

Ahh, she's not fat. She's big-boned! Haha. I say the same thing about my kitty. She's much smaller built, but probably about as thick as I am, haha. In all honesty though, I love gray cats. It's my favorite color. She's beautiful, and good on you for getting her out of a shelter. =D

Thank you! lol, yes she is just big boned and fluffy. I worked at the humane soceity for a year and she came in and the moment i saw her, i just HAD to have her. I also have a soft spot for the chunky ones lol. I will always only adopt a shelter cat, i feel so bad for them, part of the reason i left i just wanted to take them all home. I mean the shelter is definantly a FAR better place than being outside or in a horrible home, but i just still feel bad that they dont have a family to call theres and there stuck in little cages with only a little bit of out time.

Yeah, it would be hard. Mine was a feral turned housecat. It took me about a year to make friends, but now she always has food, she doesn't have to worry about kittens to feed, and she can just relax. She still can't handle if you move too fast or too quickly towards her, and she hides from strangers, but I love her. Best thing I ever did was take her in. =]
