I so sorry that happened to your dog. What a horrible day that must of been. Im glad to hear that your vet has him fixed up and that he will be good as new soon.
My biggest male dof will not fight another dog except to try to protect himself too. Its what he was taught as my 4 kids are always around.... Only once has my border collie attacked him and it was dark she was with my firend and I and he quietly came up... She only went for him because she was protecting us. In 15 seconds, because they stopped as soon as I reacted, she tore his face open a bit.
But what happened at your house.... I wouldnt have been so chill. On my way to get supplies or phone or anything I would have told friend or hubby to tell friend to get the hell out.

Sorry haven't been on! No I never received an apology and he actually asked to bring his dog out last weekend. Since they were planning on being here all day I said yes ONLY IF he kept the dog tied the entire time. In the 30 minutes they were here he let his dog loose 3 times. And was promptly sent home and told the dog was NOT welcome back under any circumstances. Wth is wrong with people?
