Wow, I love her color. Soooo pretty. My parents would never let us own anything with a tail, any thing with scales, or anything with more than four feet. Hahaha...

Would love to own a snake. I use to volunteer at an animal rescue at a National Park and I took care of all sorts of exotic animals. Great Horned Owls, Barn Owls, Screech Owls, Barred Owls, Red Tailed Hawks, and a Black Vulture. I even got to work with a few box turtles, Black Rat Snake, Hognose Snake, and a Milk Snake.

It was an awesome time in my life. I learned so much and overcame my fear of snakes. I even use to mess around with my fiance, who is deathly afraid of snakes and still is.

Really? What do they eat as adults though? I know with corns some get big enough to eat rats, but most are fine with large mice. Are they good "beginner" snakes?

I think some can take rats but if your uncomfortable with rats, just feed 2 large mice. ;)

I sure hope it is since she's my first snake!! Lol I keep her very basic, she's got her aspen bedding, a hide, heat mat, and a bowl large enough for her to get her whole body submerged.

I took her home because of her temperament. If you can rub their heads, scratch their chins its a pretty good sign that they wont be bitey as they grow. She super sweet. =D Today is actually feeding day today so I'll try and get some more pics when I take her out tonight. =D

Okay quite seriously, my luck just kinda sucks lol.

My dad said he was going to the doctors today so I'm thinking, YAY! I can take Rayne out and get some pics in the sun!
About the time I get everything together and get to the front door he's pulling back into the driveway.

He decided not go to today AND I have her food boiling so its going to be another 4-5 days before I can take her out ;( LAME!

Well since I couldnt get shmexy outside pictures, I got dead mouse and guts pictures..:Tblush:

    LOooky What I got Mommy!!!!

Rayne is also pretty good at contortion.

Hrm...maybe not the best place to dine out?

Here she is again. She just went through her shed. I couldn't find her skin soo...who knows!! She's a whole 22" now!

I took her outside but I still should have used the flash to catch her colors. They came out better inside Lol.. go figure!

She's so cute! She sat with me for about 30min while I messed on the computer and then she seemed to be getting agitated so I put her back.

She is just gorgeous! Great head shots, it's cool to see her face up close

Haha thanks. Apparently she hasn't actually shed yet. They loose their "milky" eyes right before they shed. OOPS! So i'll have to do a whole new photo shoot later on lol.
