Wow, I love her color. Soooo pretty. My parents would never let us own anything with a tail, any thing with scales, or anything with more than four feet. Hahaha...

Would love to own a snake. I use to volunteer at an animal rescue at a National Park and I took care of all sorts of exotic animals. Great Horned Owls, Barn Owls, Screech Owls, Barred Owls, Red Tailed Hawks, and a Black Vulture. I even got to work with a few box turtles, Black Rat Snake, Hognose Snake, and a Milk Snake.

It was an awesome time in my life. I learned so much and overcame my fear of snakes. I even use to mess around with my fiance, who is deathly afraid of snakes and still is.

Really? What do they eat as adults though? I know with corns some get big enough to eat rats, but most are fine with large mice. Are they good "beginner" snakes?

I think some can take rats but if your uncomfortable with rats, just feed 2 large mice. ;)

I sure hope it is since shes my first snake!! Lol I keep her very basic, shes got her aspen bedding, a hide, heat mat, and a bowl large enough for her to get her whole body submerged.

I took her home because of her temperament. If you can rub their heads, scratch their chins its a pretty good sign that they wont be bitey as they grow. She super sweet. =D Today is actually feeding day today so I'll try and get some more pics when I take her out tonight. =D

Rayne is also pretty good at contortion.

Here she is again. She just went through her shed. I couldn't find her skin soo...who knows!! Shes a whole 22" now!

I took her outside but I still should have used the flash to catch her colors. They came out better inside Lol.. go figure!

Shes so cute! She sat with me for about 30min while i messed on the computer and then she seemed to be getting agitated so I put her back.

Haha thanks. Apparently she hasn't actually shed yet. They loose their "milky" eyes right before they shed. OOPS! So i'll have to do a whole new photo shoot later on lol.

She is so pretty!

Do not follow where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail...
