So sorry about your loss. Does your husband realize he signed on to be your supporter, good times and bad?

I am so sorry for your loss. Don't beat yourself up about it - we all make mistakes and can be forgetful. This can be a learning experience. Your husband should not keep bringing this up - especially since it wasn't his dog. That is just not right! My condolences to you - I know how hard it is to lose an animal.

You know it's too bad because me, my hubby, son and father in law were all outside. I never let him out alone. He was getting real good about staying right with me, I don't work so Bear was always with me wherever I went..
I wont be getting another puppy. I feel so guilty. Don't need anyone to help me there. Susan

Don't dwell on it, that'll just make it worse. Mistakes happen, after all we are only human.

I am so sorry for your loss, and ia gree about your hubby being rude for beinging it up and that you shouldn't dwell on it, the beauty is you ARE human and we DO make mistakes, and I remember their being a thread where people posted the mistakes they made with animals involved and dying, alll of us have done it, and no matter how big or small they are it is sad to have a pet be lost and for us to feel responsible. Dont't dwell and keep moving on
