Smile New puppy! Princess Trixie, the raccoon dog!

Hi, all! I want you to meet my new pup, Trixie.

Her owners dropped off her and her 2 siblings and mom off at the shelter on Friday. Her mom is now being fostered, and siblings are adopted. She's a smart little puppy. Already learning to use pee-pee pads and is good at walking on a leash (though she does get very stubborn, refusing to go with me).

Here's a picture of her (far right) and her mom and siblings the night they came in.

When I first held her, she pressed her paws to my chest, shoved her nose under my neck and wouldn't let go.

She's a sweetie, even if she chews up my stuff.

Horses are scared of 2 things:
1. Things that move
2. Things that don't

Aww! So adorable!

Trixie is adorable! She does look like a little raccoon. Just like her mama. :)

Do you or the shelter have any ideas on what breed they might be?

Their mom is said to be a Pom/Schnauzer.
