Mine tend to be firm and a lil sweet. But I usually grill them, that changes the texture a bit.

This is Primrose, my 4mo Lionhead doe. Sorry she has hay hair...she gets fed in the upper level. She needs brushed and knows it so she is evading me. I will get photos of my maleblater.

Roseann, she's pretty! Does the hair shed off a bit or do you have to brush to get it off? Can you spin the hair?

Red, it has to be brushed out or it tangles and mats. My males mane is way less full and barely needs attention. He does not have all the other fluffy bits either. I believe my female was from a Lionhead crossed back to an Angora. She is probably considered a double mane.
Since Lionheads are actually a cross breed that originally included Angora I belive you could spin with it. It would just take forever to get enough suppose.

I have LOTS of rabbits...I'm a member of the ARBA, NMRRC, and 4-H, and I've been raising them since 2009. I have Mini Rex and I mostly breed just for show animals; I try to avoid the "pet" market as much as possible.

    Let's see, I've got:

    Ezekiel "Zeke"
    Lilo
    Kili
    Fili
    Porsche
    Emrys
    Arthur
    Gawain
    Mordred
    Lancelot
    Bluejay
    Midnight
    Metropolis
    Mercedes
    Bird-Of-Paradise "Birdie"
    Raven
    Skylark
    Kamikaze
    Tide

That's all of 'em. I'll try to get some pictures on here later.

I found some Dutch/ Californians for sale CHEAP and close. Look like nice lil rabbits. Going to get some this weekend I think.
They're just shy off slaughter, so I'll pick a few to breed and a few for the grill.
