Pictures of my kitty, Booth!

This is my kitty, Booth (like from "Bones").
I found him abandoned in the forest (dumped by someone), last June, when he was only 4 or 5 weeks old. He wasn't even a pound and the vet was pretty sure he wasn't going to make it. However, he did! And now he's 9 months old and 11 svelte pounds.
He's still terrified of being outside though, but I don't really blame him since I would be scared too if I had spent a few nights alone, defenseless, and outside! So he's a very happy indoor cat.
He's a very laid back guy, he loves to cuddle but he also LOVES to play.

A friend of mine took these for me.

This is his attitude most of the time:

Alien face!

"Bad owner! I do not like alien face!!"

And for good measure, a picture or two of him when he was a little baby (these were taken about a week after I found him):

Alien face!

Gorgeous. He looks like such a stinker .

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Nooo! You cannot have him! He'd probably go with you too, I found him while I was at camp for the summer so for the first 3 months of his life among people he was around TONS of strangers everyday. Therefore, he LOVES new people. Haha

Thanks! I agree! I was really surprised that he's grown up to be as gorgeous as he is, usually, imo, mutt-ly black cats just aren't pretty. It always seems like they have a huge head/huge ears/some other weird issue... I'm such a snob. But even if he had had some weird disproportionate body part, I would still love him.

Thanks! I like him too. :)
It made my life when I took him in too! I had been wishing for a cat for years but the right one just never came along and then I was walking in the forest at camp and there he was, on the trail, in front of me! He's super imprinted on me too which is SUPER cute. Like when he gets scared (which isn't very often), he comes running to me to "save" him.
His full name is...wait for it.... Booth Jehoshaphat Tony. I gave him the name Booth, my girl wranglers wanted to name him something biblical since it was bible camp -Jehoshaphat, and my guy wrangler wanted to name him Fat Tony - JehoshaPHAT Tony! We thought we were slick.
I will be sure to give him lots of hugs and kisses!

He is a total stinker! However, he's a stinker in a cute "let's be best friends! I may look like a cat but I'm really a small dog" sort of way, which kind of makes up for it.
He really has no clue about his species (he hasn't been around another cat since I found him) so he's kind of androgynous species-wise. Interestingly, he loves cats/dogs/horses/everything, he's just not too sure what he is.
I've never met a cat with such a personality, he's like 30% cat and 60% Golden Retriever mixed with 10% diva. My mom still calls him a her on a regular basis since he behaves like "such a girl". ROFL

Thanks! And for sure! It was one of those things that I just knew from the day we found him. I saw him and something inside me just said "he's yours"... It was weird, but very cool.
I did give him a hug for you! He purred and sends kitty loves back. :)
