Poor kitty

So I went out the other day to feed the stray cats in the neighborhood.....theres about 5-6 of them out there regularly and the one big male tabby cat had half his face missing There was a huge chunk taken out of the side of his face.....the complete layer of skin was torn off. I don't know what could have done that to him.....it didn't look like something that would have happened in a cat fight.

I eventually caught him though and called the vet and put some meds on it for him. I feel so bad for him He seems to be doing ok though....hes walking around normal and eating food and chasing after the females still haha. I'm going to take him into the vet though to make sure he's ok. I'm afraid they'll make me take him to the shelter though after he's better since he's a stray and I don't want that because they are all kill around here.

I hope the cat gets better, it is always tough to see them in rough shape.

I have such a soft spot for cats too... I would feed half the neighborhood when I was living at my dads-lol

I would put out a big bag of cat food and then put dewormer in the water, we would see that cats from the neighbors actually cross the road and go into the barn to eat. But then it started bringing in other animals (racoons, skunks, etc...) so I just poured out so much everynight.
