A litter of pups is quite an experience. I raised German Shepherds back in the 70's-it was a very different world back then.

It certainly is an experience unto itself! :)
It has it's challenges, but is alot of fun too. The hardest part is parting with them, and ensuring that they do go to good homes, but so far I'm confident that the pups that are spoken for are going to great homes. And the others won't be going until we're sure with them. :)

He is such a sweetie, tail's always wagging and he's just so happy to be around people. He actually just found a home with a nice couple tonight. :)
It's been really neat;in every situation the puppy has picked the owner, basically. For example, with him,a family came yesterday intending to purchase him,but for whatever reason he did not react well to them, very timid, stand offish, and wanting to hide, totally unlike him. Yet tonight with these people he was happy and cuddly and just totally chill with them. So,of course they fell in love. There's a story like that for each of the pups that have found homes. All but the brown girl have found homes with those who"passed inspection",and we have someone coming to see her tomorrow night.

So, have they left to their new homes yet or is that a bit in the future? Are you getting the mom spayed? Hope they all have happy homes forever.

All the puppies have new homes now,the last one had her deposit placed last night. :) We were very particular, and turned some people down because we just weren't comfortable with the them, the situation,or whatever. But we're quite happy with all these homes, and I'm comfortable with where they're going and who they're going to. They head to their new homes in about a week.
They passed their vet exams with flying colors today;the vet was quite pleased with their health, condition, temperament, ect. And they did very well with all the poking and prodding, and the long truck ride, although they were very excited to get home again. :)

And yep, momma dog will be getting fixed..
