    Puppy Name Suggestions

So, I am bringing home my new puppy next weekend. And I have already decided his call name, but I don't know what to put as his registered name. Dam's name is Dakotah's Worth the Wait, sire's name is Duck River's Free Bird. His name must start with Chisholm Trail's...As that is his breeder. His call name is Jaeger (pronounced yaygur) and it is German for hunter. He is a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, and I'd like to incorporate both parents' names like you would with a horse.
    So far I have:
Chisholm Trail's Waitin' on (the?) River
    And a picture!

I think that Chisholm Trail's Waitin' on the River is really cute! Sounds like a song name haha.

I love Chisholm Trail's Waitin' on the River! The only other combinations I thought of are Chisholm Trail's Worth the Bird or Waiting on a Bird. He is such a cute puppy! Are you planning on showing him?

So I think Chisholm Trail's Waitin' on the River it is! He is going to be my hunt test, field trial, and personal hunting dog. Though his breeder and I are talking about me getting into conformation because he is built pretty nice and both his parents have successfully earned their Grand Championship in conformation. His dam has shown at both Westminster and Eukanuba and placed top 5 both times. She got best Dual B**ch at one of them, don't remember which. His dam has also gotten perfect scores on every hunt test she's done. His sire hasn't been campaigned as much since his owners are not full time breeders, but he has still earned his GCH and I can't remember his exact hunt test scores but he did well.

I think it's funny that you put the pronunciation of Jaeger xD C'mon, who hasn't had that lovely drink ;D?

You're actually the first person to mention the drink! I figured everyone would automatically think of it, but no one has and they never know how to pronounce it lol.

I thought of the drink :) My dog has a friend called Jaeger D: Just don't ask me to spell it.. but pronounce it I can do! If I try to spell it off the top of my head it ends up something like "Jaeygar"

He's not named after the drink, but it helps when people think of it because then they know how to spell and pronounce it lol. There just happens to be a drink called "master hunter" and I wanted to name him hunter in German. I figured people would be looking at me like I'm some type of alcoholic lol.

There's a dog on my street named Champagne. Don't feel bad. And Chrisholm's Trail Waitin' on the River is adorable!
