R.I.P a good and a sad day for me

We have had Jackie (her real name is Jacki-e-latern because we got her on Halloween) for almost three years we got her off a farm on halloween one day after work my mom pulled up in her car told me to wait in the car because there was a pumpkin patch right across the road from my work and she came back with this little baby bunny I think she was 10 weeks but a few months later she had a huge cyst on her shoulder it popped me and my mom cleaned it three times a day for two weeks and it never came back(in the first year we had her). But about a month we noticed her eyes go red around the rims of her eye lids and they got better in a few days we thought it was allergies because I switched her hay from grass to mostly alfalfa. But then two weeks ago we noticed something was wrong she was lathargic her breathing was all clicky sounding we where going to take her to the vet yestorday but before we where able to........ she passed away :{{{{ it broke my heart still does because I wasnt able to help my animal... and she was so mean to us she scratched us tried to bite us growled she wasnt a friendly nor a social animal at all. But I still loved her even tho she made me bleed everyday when I went to pet her feed her change her bedding didnt matter shed get all pissy..... but I know she's in a better place where she can be free and eat grass and be a bunny not a pet... so R.I.P Little miss Jackie Bear as we called her alot we always had nicknames for her...

But in the same day something amazing happend
My mom felt realy bad for me because jackie passed away yestorday morning so she brought me to the pet store and let me get a bunny of my choice there where two white ones with a little bit of brown or black of the head, there was a brown lion head, and a brown dwarf bunny, but then there was this beautiful little 9 week old baby boy holland lop he was white with lots of brown and black but he was the only one that didnt realy run away from me I could touch his face without him biteing I can pcik him up...... so he came home with us :} my bunny because I payed for him. I think he already likes me he come up to me, goes all hyper when we put him in the grass or on the carpet in the garage. And what gets me is he licks me :} I love him but I still cry over jackie I hope she isnt mad that I got a baby bunny that realy likes me and I can play with him(i sound stupid I know a 19yr old haveing a bunny)

I will post pictures of both soon

I'm sorry for the loss of your Jackie. I absolutely adore bunnies as pets! I had one for some time a while back - a dwarf bunny. She was beautiful! They said her color was Siamese sable - she was grey with black points. I was very sad when she died but it was her time.

And yes on posting pics! What did you name your new baby?

Lops are the BEST bunnies ever! I had one named Mr. French(he was a french lop hehe). He was the sweetest bunny ever. I got him when he was already about 8-10 years old from my mom's boss, so he was near his end when I got him. We'd lay on the couch and he would just lay there on my stomach and fall asleep. I'd let him hop around the living, and he played with the kittens. He passed away a couple years after I got him, and I miss him so much. ): Your boy is absolutely adorable, though!

I had a rabbit like that, a white californian. She threw great babies, but man was she a terror! Both of my lops were very nice and mellow, though. Seems the bigger they are, the nicer they are haha.
