Nice topic

I have two cornsnakes:

This is "Crash", gender 1.0, born in august 2010, colour: classic

And this is "Eddy", gender 1.0, born in august 2010, colour: Abotts Okeetee

They are so lovely

Your Pythons are amazing! And the anaconda! Wow! Very beautiful :)

I miss my snakes! My favorites are bloods, but they can be hard to take care of properly. First snake to ever bite me was my baby blood python. I adored that little girl, but I had a few bloods. None were snuggly like my assortment of ball pythons. I had a calico het pied, Mojave, spider, pastel, granite, spotnose, yellow ghost, and some normals of course.

I also had a pair of irian jayan carpet pythons,a few Burmese, a few corns and kings along the way, some red tails, Kenyan sand boas... really, a little bit of everything and I'm sure I'm forgetting some, as well as a variety of other reptiles. But when we fell on hard times, the snakes had to go. They were worth the most, and cost the most to upkeep in terms of food. I cried my eyes out when some of them went, others I was just disappointed. It is easy to love those special snakes youve had for a while or nursed back to health, or spent a long time.carefully saving for.

I love snakes!
I had a ball python for a little while. I named him Moose. But my mother didn't like him and gave him back. :/ I'll eventually own more snakes!

The blood just likes a higher humidity and will need a much bigger cage than the balls. I don't think she is necessarily difficult to care for. She is also a big sweety and does not deserve the reputation the species has gotten.

I am looking into getting a few more corn snakes in the near future to make some orchid corns! They are a mix of lavender and sunkissed.

I am kind of beside myself right now. I have a boa due to give birth any day. I am so worried about her because she didn't have the best care prior to coming here. Here's hoping! I am on pins and needles.

Good luck Dreamer! Be sure to update us with pics of mom and babies.

Thanks! If the babies are alive I will definitely post pics. They should be very nice little ones. Momma is a het albino and the male is albino. Oh, I am so nervous. It is like everything that could go wrong has happened to this female already. She is getting some major pampering as soon as I can.

Here was my baby when I live in FL. I had to give him away to my friend because I moved out of state. Here he is!

^ ill have one of these green tree pythons, please!! My favorite colors, and I have always had an obsession with horses, frogs, snakes, turtles, and lizzards since I was a small child.

The ol man used to have a gargantuan python-- I think he said 12' and a few hundred pounds.. we still have the enormous snake cauge built into the wall of a room in our home. :) I always say its time for another, but I don't think he wants another big snake again..
