I miss my snakes! My favorites are bloods, but they can be hard to take care of properly. First snake to ever bite me was my baby blood python. I adored that little girl, but I had a few bloods. None were snuggly like my assortment of ball pythons. I had a calico het pied, Mojave, spider, pastel, granite, spotnose, yellow ghost, and some normals of course.
I also had a pair of irian jayan carpet pythons,a few Burmese, a few corns and kings along the way, some red tails, Kenyan sand boas... really, a little bit of everything and I'm sure I'm forgetting some, as well as a variety of other reptiles. But when we fell on hard times, the snakes had to go. They were worth the most, and cost the most to upkeep in terms of food. I cried my eyes out when some of them went, others I was just disappointed. It is easy to love those special snakes youve had for a while or nursed back to health, or spent a long time.carefully saving for.
