Sometimes you love em, and sometimes you hate em-what my kitties did!

Well, today was one of those days when my cats try to punish me.
So this morning I got up and was getting ready for school. I noticed that my kitties litters were dirty, so I added a bit more litter. I don't always change the litter fully if there wasnt much in there in the first place. One litter box was empty to start with, so when I added litter it was pretty clean. The other litter was dirty, but I didnt have time to change it. I figured that the cats would make a mess by the time I get home and I would fully clean it then.
Well my little devil decided she wanted to use the second litter box, and as it wasnt clean enough, she pissed all over the floor. Then, to make things worse, she walked around with her pee soaked paws all over my clean wooden floor! I had to chase her, wash her paws, soak up all the pee (with my cats towels )and had to replace both litters.
Well, by the time I got out the door it was already 8.30, I should have been at school and I was 40 minutes away. So I got to school, and apparently the 'excuse' that my cats peed all over the floor wasnt good enough. Great! So not only did my cats make a mess, I was also late for class and got a detention.
So now im in class writing this whole thing up (finished the worksheet I was meant to do), my cats better watch their backs when I get home.

Please keep an eye on her as it could be a urinary issue.

My cat just came home from the vet hospital as he had a urinary blockage. If I didn't know him, it could have been much worse. He walked in my room and was digging in the blanket on my bed.

I took him straight to the vet. I caught it early enough that all he needed was a catheter and some meds. He was only able to pee 2 or 3 drops at a time. The vet tried to express urine and could not get more than 2 drops.

Anytime a cat pees outside the box, it is time for a vet visit. I saved my cat's life by catching it in time and going straight to the vet, even though it was 11pm.

Anytime a cat who always uses the box, pees outside of it, is a red flag. At least get a urinalysis done.

Im positive its not a urinary problem. As soon as I changed the litter she got straight back in. I swear she was doing it just to annoy me.

I love my roommate's cats like they're my own, but sometimes they remind me why I'm a DOG person. AKA getting up on places they're not supposed to be and knocking stuff over. Dogs usually stay on the floor at least!

My dog was worse than my kitties. He would chew on everything! And get on tables and eat everything he could find, we couldn't leave anything out :P
