We have two barn cats (at my barn at home), a mother and daughter, and they BOTH gave birth two days apart three weeks ago. We didn't even know they were pregnant until a week before they gave birth. These cats are tame; they live in our barn and we feed them, but they still roam around. They hunt too..they've dragged in rabbits and birds and rats (yuck!). The mother was probably born stray, but the daughter has been handled since a kitten. We know it is very unhealthy to have un-spayed cats running around, and that is why we are spaying them next week. I really don't want thirty cats roaming around my property!
We found homes for all the kittens, but obviously they can't go until they're 6-8wks. A few more weeks and they'll be gone :'(.
They are so cute I just had to post! We might keep one, but really I think two is enough!
The orange and white tabby cat is the mom of the white, tabby/white, and calico kittens. The grey tabby cat is the the daughter of the white/tabby, and is the mother to the orange tabby and two grey tabby kittens.
