what do with my animals when I go to collage:(?

I already have the horse situation figured out.
I have two dogs and two cats.
I will probley give one cat and one dog away, but id really like to keep the other cat(blue) and dog(moby), well i wont even consider giving up moby!
I cant rely on my dad to care for them.. and even if i could moby would be chained up except when I could come home! The only friend that would consider keeping moby already has 5 dogs...
what do I do.......?

As much as you don't want to, it sounds as though the only responsible option available to you is to re-home them.

The other option is finding an apartment and roommate close to your college that accepts pets. However if that isn't possible for you then i agree with themacpack it would be more responsible to rehome them.

I know, and I knew thats what i was gonna hear. I have thought about an apartment, but I dont know if ill have the money. my friend who is keeping one of my horses said she can take my cat too so thats a plus, so now its just moby... it will tear me apart if i do have to re-home him, im almost crying just thinking about it and its still 9 months away. I reckon I could call my dad every-single-day and remind him to feed, and pay my little sister to walk him, it sounds like a good idea but i wouldnt know if they were really doing it and i'd have to pay my sister 20 bucks a day. haha, shes lazy. I still have awhile to come up with something... sorry to waist your time rambling. this has been on my mind for months

Sounds like a rehoming may be what you have to do. Sad I know.

Even if your friend has five, ask anyway. Offer to buy food often for the whole pack.

So sorry you have to make those tough decisions. I will be in charge of a bunny, cockatiel, two dogs and one horse. She will take one horse to college with her and I will keep one here. I think she will also take the betta if he is still alive. I told her no more animals :)

you could always find someone to take care of them when your gone. it would be as if you rehomed them but after collage you can take them back. i have seen it a few times on craigslist, people want to find temporary homes for their animals while they are gone for a while then they take the animals back when they want to
