I hid a guinea pig in my dorm room. Our RA discovered him, but was really cool and didn't say anything. Before long, two other people on my floor got guinea pigs and we had g.p. Races on the last day of school. Lol! I do have pictures of the race, but like Amy said...pre-digital era. Maybe I can scan it...

As a kid, I never had to hide anything because I got my animal-loving genes from my mom. The only thing I brought home that she would not let me keep were a litter of baby possums I found one day on a ride. They were clinging to their mother who had been hit in the road. :(

Stella - sweet, timid, elegant, lovely, lively, amazing
Luna - large, unattractive, naughty, adored

oooh that's so sad those poor babies! I would have done the same thing but my mom would have let me keep them. I brought home a baby possum I found on the side of the house. But we soon let it go after my grandma said that they will tear your dogs face off and bite you for no reason at random.

I would love to see pics of the gp races!

I hid a cat in my room for 6 months! LOL She was feral so she hid under the bed most of the time. And she was all black, I also had her father (he was abandoned in the neighborhood, I trapped them both and got them fixed, he was tame and she wasn't) who was all black, so even if my dad caught a glimpse, he woudln't realize unless he saw both together ;)
He was NOT happy when he found out, but he didn't make me get rid of her! LOL (I eventually did release her as she was not meant to be a house cat, no matter how much I tried... and I tried for a year!)

I'm sure I could sneak in a cat without hubby noticing, since we have so many now lol ;)

These stories are hilarious!!!

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

some of those stories are so funny! I wish I could sneak a horse into my life lol. the only pet that my mum didn't know about was the mouse I saved from getting eaten my someones pet snake. His name was poe & he lived at my grandparents for about a year or so. My mum found out after about a week cause I was so excited, lol. She didn't care as long as it stayed at my grandparents house. But it eventually go out of its cage in the garage

I once found a house mouse in the bathroom, crouching in the corner. Well trying to hide.. but I picked it up kept it in one of my tanks. It was really prego. But she ended up eating her babies. My mom said I could keep one of them but let her go back in the wild. So after she had her dinner I let her go..far away from the house.
