Oh man! Lucara I would be soooo scared to sleep at night if I knew there was a tarantula loose in my house. We have hobo's in the house and they are just the right size for me to handle anything bigger YIKES! Do you have pics of them?

From east to west a travlin gypsy found her prancing pony for now their hearts run as one...into the north

I had several cornsnakes when I was younger that we lost and found on a regular basis.
First there was Brownie who escaped when Smokey (then a young kitten) chewed/clawed through the wire top on the snake cage for... whatever reason. :/
Then about a year later we bought a new red cornsnake, April. We had her several years, and then she escaped while my cousin was holding her -- he got startled when she 'licked' him, dropped her near the couch, and she disappeared.
We found her again that Christmas, curled under the Christmas tree. XD
Then she escaped... again. Through a not-so-well closed cage top.
About another year later, we were adding a sunroom to the house and a snake fell out of the rafters onto the contractor -- a brown cornsnake. (Dad's convinced that it was Brownie, but I still think it was too small.) This one never really got named before it escaped -- this time when I took it to school as part of a project I was doing on reptiles. The cage was duct taped shut, and while I and the teacher were out of the room, someone opened the cage and the unnamed snake was gone when we returned.
Then... we found April again. XD I don't remember how we found her that time, but she died a few months later.

Yeah, that's my best lost/found pet(s) story.

about 5 years ago I had a rat, emma. One night there was a storm on the way and emma's cage was outside but I wasnt home. I rang dad and asked him to go over to my house and put her inside. Now emmas cage was a hard wire cage with a plastic tray. The hard wire outer wanting attached to the tray. Dad went over in the rain and put her inside but when he got inside he noticed the bottom wasnt on and emma wasnt in the cage (she was in the tray). He went outside to see if she was still in the tray but she wasnt, she had run away. We went home and I looked for her that night and the next moring but she was no where to be seen. About 4 or 5 days later my sister went out side and stood on a tarp we had on the ground. When she stood on it she her this squeek sorr of noise. She ran inside to me and said that she thought she had stood on a bird or a mouse under the tarp and killed it. I went out expecting to find nothing. When I lifted the tarp, ther was emma! She was just sitting there and she looked at me as if to say "well hello! Took you long enough!" haha! My sis had just stood on the very edge of her little toe. She was not a scratch on her! So there was this demestic rat, outside for about 4 or 5 days, by her self, with cats hanging around, and she survived and was unharmd!!!! She was so lucky!

and I have another.... not really lost and found... more like lost and come home

We had a duck named gorge. He was dumped at a dam near us and we were there when he was dumped. We were going to take him then but we couldnt catch him. Months after he was dumped me and a friend went to this park, about a kilometer from the dam, and there was gorge waddling up to us! He was dehydrated and starving! So we took him to a friends who had ducks the a few years later they didnt want him and were going to shoot him so I took him. Now he didnt like our dog (our dog didnt do anything, gorge just didnt like him around). One day we were just looking out the window at him and he took flight. He flew over the house and as he did he quacked as if to say "see ya later!" we don't know where he went but he came back about 2 weeks later! We ended up giving him to our neighbour cause gorge really didnt like our dog. A few years later the neighbour next to our neighbour got drunk and shot all of our neighbour's ducks! Gorge was never found though. Don't know if he flew away or if he was killed!

Ok that story really isnt a lost and found story but its long so im not about to delete it now! Haha!!!
