Why do cats HAVE to lay on paper???

Does anyone have a cat who magically shows up whenever you are paying bills or otherwise trying to organize paperwork and just plunk down in the middle of it? It paper made of cat velcro or something? I was trying to clean out old folders today and every time I made pile, there she was plopped down in the middle of it. Same thing with computer keyboards. Is this just an overly shameless bid for attention or do these items have magical cat magnetic pull? My other cat never does this, but this one shows up every single time. Weird putty tat.

Green Broke
Yep - I've got a couple like that. Try as I might, I can never be quiet enough - sometimes I feel like I`m in a marestare cam and they`re watching ready to zoom in the moment I handle anything papery.

Cosmo generally ignores me, but if I'm reading or on my laptop, he's all up in my business. And when my boyfriend is counting the money from the vending machine business so he can do the deposit, Cosmo will stretch out in the middle of it all and try to play with the coins.

I love that about cats! They just assume that everyone loves them and wants them to be smack dab in the middle of everything.
