Cuteness overload! What an adorable boy!

You are never better than anyone. Every rider has skills they need to improve. The only one you must compare yourself with, is you.

Boyfriend is not thrilled ( we were going to wait and get a dog later) but I think he's staying. And thanks!

What a cutie! Do you have any idea of what breed he is? He looks quite similar (though lighter) to my German x Labrador pup, Connor.

(at seven weeks old)

He's three months old now, and has pretty much gone to hell and back, poor guy. Definately reminds me of Yeager though, for some reason

They do look similar, though you can definitely see the Shepard in Connor. We think (my boss/vet and myself) that he is definitely LabX of some kind. Possibly Shepard, but we're thinking since a lot of farm people in this area have Black Mouth Cur dogs, and the note the was with him when he was dumped said he was a local farm dog, that he is Lab X Cur.

Here's info on the cur dogs, and he does look like them.
United Kennel Club: Black Mouth Cur

I give myself very good advice, But I very seldom follow it

Very interesting, I dont think I've seen a cur until now. I see what you mean though. He sure is a cutie!

Funny because Connor started out as an abandoned 'foster' puppy too...haha

Those puppies! I still don't really want a puppy. And keep going back and forth about keeping him or not.

If I find the *perfect* family I will adopt him out. If not, he will stay with me.

Sigh, I don't need a puppy right now, ha ha. I was looking at adopting a Burmese Mountain Dog X Border Collie mix after moving into my new apartment. Had already had several conversations with his foster mom about him. She's updated on the new puppy situation, but I had met this dog, and was pretty excited to take him home..... no way I can have TWO dogs.

I'm embarrassed, I recent remembered that "Yeager" is spelled Jager. DUH, ha ha ha.

Bernese x Border Collie an apartment dog??? hahaa. Good luck with that! hehe.

That picture of Jager with his tail straight up in the air is ADORABLE. And sometimes our pets choose us and we have no choice in the matter :)

Horseless currently. Hoping someday that will change.
