Bullying in school

Make a formal complaint with your law enforcement and press charges against this kid.

And also go to welfare and file child abuse charges against her too.

If you keep pussyfooting around with school, nothing will get done.

And also see if your state has anti bullying hotline to call and complain about.

When these things keep happening, I don't understand why parents don't step it up to involve charges.

The schools don't care, period.

And all the anti bullying laws will not stop this, bullying is part of human nature basically.

What used to keep it in check was parents disciplining their kids, and kids knowing there would be consequences for bad behaviors.

But go to the law, and press charges.

Well, I guess all you can do at this point is wait and see. Tell your daughter again to avoid said child if possible (I'm sure you have already). If there is another altercation without effective consequences, go to the next level.

Oh, the poor baby. I went through the same thing. Except my dad told me, "if they hit you, hit them back. I will take responsibility.". I never got to do it sadly. Anyway, stop talking to the principle if this doesn't stop. Send her to a self defense class. Get other parents to complain. Face to face. No calls or notes. I was called names, physically hurt and had money stolen from me. In the end, my dad told the principle that I had permission to defend myself physically if I was hit or something was stolen. I didn't have a problem in that school again. Oh if nothing works homeschool her. But please listen to her. Bullying can crush a person. Im in highschool now but I still suffer from the bullying I get when I was younger. I'm still small. But I can throw a pretty well aimed kick if I need to. I never did hit anyone. I was too scared. The one time I pushed a girl away from me when she was hitting me, I got in trouble. My dad came and would drop me off at my classroom door everyday, until I told him the problem stopped.
